The weather can’t quite decide if it’s Spring yet but Ellie has been having fun whether stuck inside or able to play outdoors.

Inside, Ellie still loves building forts out of couch cushions.  And breaking them.  In one of those cases, she climbed onto the couch, yelled “Big Bad Wolf!” and then jumped down and knocked her fort over.

She’s also started to be fascinated by computers, mostly because she can watch videos on them.  She calls my old Chromebook “my ‘puger” (still working on that pronunciation).

And, of course, outside she still loves swings and slides.  She’s also wanted to be chased while running a lot of late, and she loves running in circles in general.

The big event of the last couple months has been Easter.  She was such a happy kid through all of it.  Aside from a slight meltdown at her school’s Easter egg hunt, she had a lot of fun, and even gave the Easter Bunny a hug.

Ellie and I also moved recently.  She’s very excited about her new pink and purple bedroom, but still a little tentative ’cause we’re not completely unpacked.  Here she is grinning while getting a tour of the new house:

She’s recently started a new adventure: Potty training.  The first couple days have gone pretty amazingly, with only one big accident.  She’s learning quick and is really proud of herself.  We’re proud of her, too.
