I’d like to introduce you to our daughter! Elizabeth (Ellie) J Rasmussen was born at 11:04 am on April 27th at 32 weeks. She weighs 4 lbs 9 oz and is 18 1/4 in long (which is huge for a 32 weeker!) Ellie will be in the NICU for at least a few weeks, but she’s doing great. She’s breathing on her own and has been since she came out, which is awesome. We just need to wait until she’s a little older and figures out how to eat on her own, and make sure she’s a champion breather, and we can all go home 🙂
I’ll post some more shortly about how she got here and continue to post updates here so everyone can stay up to date on what’s going on. For right now though, here’s some pics to tide you over.
