I’m so excited. Today is Halloween. I love Halloween. And now I have my daughter to share it with 🙂
Backing up a bit, as Clark mentioned, Ellie had her 6 month appointment earlier this week. She’s really getting onto her growth chart, which is crazy that her height could be 59% considering she should really be on a 4 mo growth chart! She’s just so darn tall. Anywho, she had her vaccinations as well. I ended up spending a couple days home with her as she wasn’t feeling well at all afterwards:
To cheer her (well, myself) up, I put her in her candy corn outfit:
Thankfully, she was feeling better today for Halloween! They had a parade at day care, which was amazing. So many small children in costumes. It was a little chaotic, but I’m so glad I went. She went in her Mermaid costume.
Then tonight, she was an owl while passing out candy. It probably doesn’t surprise you, but she ended up with 2 owl costumes. This one was way cuter, but far too big (you can see how sad she is about that.)
This one is less cute, but still cute and fit way better (yay super cheap Old Navy costume!)
We had a lot of fun. I’m so excited for next year when she can actually go trick or treating!
