Ellie and I have been trying to make sure to make a trip to a playground once a week since the weather got better. She loves getting the chance to climb and run around and doesn’t really feel the need to stay on one toy for very long.
One of the first trips we went out, one of the moms said “She’s fearless!” in awe. Then when she found out that Ellie was two, she said to her son, “Are you going to let a girl half your age outdo you?”
One of the trips was poorly-planned on my part. I picked her up from school ready to take her straight to the park… Forgetting that that day was Pajama Day. So she ran around the park in her PJs like it was no big deal.
She and I hung out a bit with her Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Ronn on Father’s Day, so she got to play with the fun toys at their place.
